Luke Beats is the latest incarnation of Italian bass player and producer Luca Romeo. A prolific musician since the mid 90s, he debuted into beatmaking in 2021 with the instrumental beats EP Instrumentalis. Inspired by the classic style of producers like J Dilla and Madlib, he chops samples with his MPC and SP404 and creates beats that sound like mantra.
