Carlo Alberto Rossi

Composer, music publisher and record producer Carlo Alberto Rossi (Rimini, 1921- Milan, 2010) was one of the greatest Italian songwriters of his generation, and of all time.

The originality, refinement and artistry of his songs have been compared to those of Cole Porter, and indeed he elevated the popular song in Italy to unprecedented heights.

Artists who have performed his music run the gamut from Italian singers Natalino Otto, Joe Sentieri, Mimì Bertè, Nilla Pizzi and Mina to international stars like Bing Crosby, Sarah Vaughan, Tom Jones, Dean Martin and Ray Charles, just to name a few.
